Use online courses at your church.
Pick a topic and study it together. Start a class on evangelism or theology. Take a course on the New Testament. Whatever your church needs to study, Zondervan Academic Online Courses can help.
Give your staff the tools they need.
Help your staff grow by working through an online course together. They'll be positioned for growth, and together, you'll be equipped for the challenges of ministry.
Train everyone in your church.
Equip your small group leaders, elders, and volunteers. No matter where they're serving, everyone in your church will benefit.
Prepare the next generation.
Is someone in your church thinking about going to Bible college? Seminary? By providing them with an online course from Zondervan, you can give them a head start in their education. This is because transfer credit is available, which means they can apply their coursework to their degree.
How it works
1. Form a class at your church.
A class could include your staff, a group of leaders, or anyone. Classes can be as big as you like, or as small as one person.
2. Meet together.
Once per week, meet together in person. Spend an hour together Wednesday night or after church on Sunday.
At these meetings, introduce the material in the unit you’ll be studying. Explain why it’s important and set expectations.
3. Facilitate your online class during the week.
In between meetings, everyone in your class will be working through the material on their own time. They’ll watch the video lectures, work through the readings, and go through review materials—all at their own pace.
As the course facilitator, you’ll be able to see all class activity. Detect where participants are struggling and offer help as needed.
4. Meet again.
At your next weekly meeting, spend time reflecting on the unit. What made sense? What was challenging? Have a group discussion using questions provided in each unit. Give space for the group to reflect together in person.
Then, move on to the next unit. Repeat the process the following week.
The end result
By the end of the course, you'll have provided a full, seminary-level learning experience. Your church will be getting a serious theological education using the best learning materials available anywhere.
Let's get started.
